We had a very busy weekend... a visit to my Mum and Dad in the morning, followed by a 2nd birthday party... followed by a bbq at a friends house.
Then on Sunday we did some housework, swept up some more red dust outside (including some of the sneaky stuff that got inside) and then we had some friends over to our house for dinner (a BBQ).
My daughter loves their dog, Ned. He is a toy poodle and here is a photo of her after she had taken him in her room and dressed him up.
I used to dress my dogs up when i was little too, so that was really cute to see. Poor Ned, he puts up with a lot!

Busy Weekend Ahead
Tonight i am going out with some girls from my high school for dinner, which is always lovely to do and catch up. Sometimes it feels like i only just left school and other times it feels like a lifetime ago!
On Sunday we have two kids parties to go to, a 3yr old girl and a 4yr old boy! My kids are gonna be tired at the end of the day. I must remember to dose them up on liquid multi-vitamins in the morning LOL.
This was taken at the last dinner with my good mate Renee.

Our new work blog
I spent nearly all day yesterday setting up the new blog for our business. Its in Wordpress and its a lot more complicated then blogger!!! Blogger is really easy to use and i love that, but i guess Wordpress is a lot more involved.
My husband is a builder and we started our business 'Rangehood Ducting Specialists' about 6 years ago now. It was an opportunity in the market for this kind of building work, and also something i could work on at home and be a stay at home mum for my kids.
So if your interested, here is the blog: Our work blog
I havent finished it yet, but you get the idea!

Fun filled day
Wow what a busy day we had today.
It started off with me frantically baking some choc chip cookies for my DD's pre-school fete.
Then heading to the fete in unseasonal warmth (27C today, when usually its 21C this time of year!). The kids had a great time!
Here DS enjoys the climbing gym.
DD with her face painted in a rainbow.
Sitting next to her best friend and all her other pre-school friends singing "Give me a home amongst the gumtree". Too cute.
Then a quick trip home for lunch and a quick nap for DS before heading over to The Entrance to see my sisters (one is visiting from Canberra so havent seen her in 6 months).
We went for a walk down to the boulevarde and the kids had a ride on the merry-go-round (thanks Jo for holding onto them LOL).
And another play on another playgym!
Funny enough both sound asleep when their heads hit their pillows tonight. Dont think im far off it myself. Goodnight!!

Babies making me clucky
Today i visited my friend who had her baby 3 weeks ago.
And boy was i unexpectantly CLUCKY.... oh he is just so gorgeous and he fell asleep on my chest and he was so warm and cuddly.
I swear i was ovulating on the spot.
DH and i can't have anymore kids so i knew i could never have this again, which in some ways makes me sad but im also a bit relieved as i don't think i could handle being up all night again!
Lucky for me i have two friends with babies due at the end of the year and a couple more next year.
I'm sure i will get my fix of baby cuddles...

I love homemade pizza
I just had to share a photo of the pizza i recently cooked... it was a real labour of love due to roasting all the vegies myself and of course making my own homemade wholemeal pizza base. Let me know what you think? Would you eat it???
or the whole thing...
Fitness Challenge
I entered a fitness challenge at my local gym 6 weeks ago.
The challenge goes for 12 weeks and the winner receives $800.
I had my first weigh in yesterday and im happy to report 5kg lost with 6cm off the bust and 3cm off the hip/belly area. I gained 1cm on both my arms and thighs... which i have been assured is just toning up (i hope so!!!!!!!!!).

Going on a date with my Husband
Lately the hubby and i are trying to have 'date lunches' where Nanna minds the kids and we go off by ourselves to try and have some quality us time.
A couple of weeks ago we went for a ride on our motorbike to Wollombi Pub. Here's me out the front. There were so many bikes... and men in leather (woo hoo).
