A Day on the Green
Not far from where I live, is the Hunter Valley Vineyards. About an hours drive north you reach the gorgeous wine country where I have been many times to sample some of this country's favourite drinks.
The vineyards also hold a lot of concerts there. I was lucky enough to go to one last Saturday with my hubby and good friends.
On show was INXS, Train, Baby Animals and Sean Kelly from the Models. We got there nice and early and because of this we got front row (in the general admission section!). We took lots of water in an esky full of ice, food, comfy chairs and big hats. What a fantastic day. INXS were fantastic, they played some songs instrumentally which I found different and refreshing. Train were unreal, their lead singer Patrick was so charismatic and a real show man. Sean Kelly played some of his songs and some old Models songs which got the audience up on their feet dancing. And the Baby Animals were brilliant with the lead singer Suze rocking it like only a Rock Chick knows how... here are some photos.
