We start our journey in December 2013 going around Australia. We will be travelling for about 13 months and the kids will be educated via distance education. A very exciting time for us. Hello 2013
I am a very slack blogger I know! I have much more fun with Instagram then any other social media. There are some photos on my sidebar.
I went to High Tea in Sydney with Louise.. Was lovely!
I saw Maroon 5 at Sydney Ent Cent with my friend Kristie
An early xmas lunch with the family...
At Christmas time we went camping to Big 4 at Soldiers Point for a few days and then onto Lake St Clair near Singleton. The lake won hands down for me. It was amazing, the lake is half the volume of Sydney Harbour and fresh water too! I love it. We didnt have anyone camping near us, and it was so relaxing and fun. We were a bit dirty when we got home though, no showers or toilets near us (thank god that Wayne bought a portaloo!!).
I made sushi for the first time. I love it, was very delicious. Wayne and the kids hated the nori (seaweed) so next time i will make it without it!!!!
My baby boy starts school on the 4th Feb. Here are his new school shoes. He is a size 2 wide lol.
Last Friday was the hottest day ever recorded in my area.
I have never felt heat like this, it was suffocating to walk outside!!!
Here's to updating my poor blog more often this year!!!

Goodbye Nick and Trixie
A bit of a sad time in our home at the moment. On Thursday late afternoon (9 Aug), our bird Trixie decided to go for a fly outside and unfortunately we have not found her. The kids are devastated and I feel so bad because I was the one who left the door open. This door, by the way, is what i use when bringing in the groceries and she has never even looked out the door let alone flied out it. Was so shocked! Went running and looking for her but sadly no Trixie. I have put up posters and we will keep looking...
Nick also said goodbye this morning, he is moving to Canada permanently to be with his girlfriend Kayla (who is lovely). We will go and visit him in a couple of years, I cant wait, I would move to Canada in a heartbeat if i got the chance.
On Wed night, all the local Wangi people gathered at Wangi RSL to celebrate two local boys winning gold at the Olympics in sailing. I got on TV LOL. Here's the LINK to one of them.

Family photos
My Mum doesnt own or know how to use a computer, so about once or twice a year she asks me to 'empty' her camera memory stick of all photos and put them on my computer. Gee she takes a LOT of brurry photos lol, but some are quite good. Here are a few I took off her camera:
Gotta wear glasses all the time now lol |
Dad, Nick and Steve |
Kayla, Jakayla and Rory. So, my kids are Jakayla and Rory, and Nick (my nephew) lived with Kayla and Rory. It was meant to be :) |

My guitar playing girl...
My girl has started guitar lessons at school. She is so good for a 7 year old!!! She got the guitar for her birthday in February from her Daddy. We also love the fact that her guitar is deep purple in colour...

March Photo a Day Challenge
Oops, i did forget to do the rest of February, actually not completely forgot, just got distracted by a quick trip to Port Macquarie lol
Oh and today's photo challenge is UP. This is taken in our study from my chair up to the skylight. Its very bright in summer so there is a cardboard cut out in it to minimise light, and I cut a love heart in the cardboard!
My girl got a guitar for her 7th birthday, its dark purple and she loves it! |

Taken at Port Macquarie along the waterfront... we love angry birds! |
